Rachel 2 years ago We were very lucky, we were told by the tour guide, this was the only day this week that there would be some filming on location. On arriving we drove around to we saw where the filming was, we were able to watch from below on the beach (approx 10 - 15 metres away) We saw Zac, Leah, Hunter, Olivia and VJ filming. We then walked and checked out the pier, bait shop and the outside of where Roo lives and the diner. We then spotted John walking to set and were lucky enough to get a photo with him. We then saw Morag and Roo getting led to set by security and was told they couldn't stop but Roo was so nice, she quickly let us get a photo with her. Then we drove around to the Surf Club where they also sell some Summer Bay merchandise and on the way home, were pointed out the hospital, Brax house, the Morgans house and Marilyn and Johns house. We were extremely fortunate that we went on the tour on a day there was filming and very lucky we got photos with 2 of the actors/actresses. But even though we are huge fans I would of been hugely disappointed if we didn't see anyone and only got to set the pier, diner, surf club and beach.

Bring your own lunch and have a picnic on the beach in true Summer Bay style! You might be lucky to spot some filming action as well.
